Here is a view of Alcatraz. And, here is one of the cells. I'm really glad that we went on the tour. It was a sad, and amazing place! John and I were shocked that families (of the workers) actually lived on the island. They had young children and they said that they didn't even lock their doors. I can't even imagine that!

We had a wonderful time away! San Francisco is an amazing city! So much fascinating history. I will try to post pictures, but for some reason blogger only lets me post 3 at a time, more than that and it freezes. Maybe it's our aging computer???
