Well, there's 5 of us! One great dad, one ever-trying to be great mom, two wild and crazy boys, and one tiny princess (I know, I know...I'll let her know one day that she's not really a princess!)

Disneyland???
Hey there friends - We are considering a trip to Disneyland this Spring??? Any tips out there?? Good places to stay, must see shows, or excellent restaurants? We would appreciate any helpful hints.
If you look online for hotels anywhere within a 3 mile radius, you don't have to pay premium for being right next door, as all hotels around the area are on the shuttle route. There are hotels that have family suites and when we were there last Spring a family suite only cost us 90ish. If you want a great show outside of Disney, Excalibur is great I hear...it is a Medievil dinner theatre...a little spendy though. Have tons of fun.
You were with us when we went as an MC group weren't you? Tons of fun!!!!
Amelia - Maybe your hubby will take you someday! :) Rachel - Thanks for the tips. I didn't go your MC year. I think I was in the Bahamas or Finland?? Poor me. :) Karen - Thanks - that would be great! We aren't going to try to do all the surrounding attractions, just focus on Disneyland and possibly Sea World because it was a highlight for me as a child and my kids love animals!
If you get a chance, get atleast a two day pass that you can go between Disneyland and California adventure. Californial Adventure was SOOOO great! They had amazing shows (like a broadway production of Aladin - amazing!), Bear and the big blue house live show, and they have the "Bug's Life" land where Gracie would absolutely love it. We all enjoyed our time at California Adventure (sophie included) much more than Disneyland. Except for seeing the Disneyland Princesses! And, rent their strollers, don't pack one. It is worth the $8.00, and you can use them in both of the theme parks.
We are fortunate to stay with relatives who live just a few miles from Disneyland when we go. If you want, I could ask them for suggestions. I thought you guys just went there? It must have just been CA for Andy's wedding.
I followed a link from Jess Cagle's blog while looking for someone else's blog, but I work for expedia.com & maybe I could help you see the difference between the hotels...If you go to Jess's blog, I'm Marcie. Let me know!

My cousin works there (she's a "character", although I don't know who she's playing right now). I could email her and see what she recommends.
